Role of coaches to actively support, guide, challenge and lift teacher engagement and confidence with ICT tools (e-learning) .

Professional Learning outcomes

ICT Facilitator has had one on one contact with 32 staff. ICT Facilitator has visited all faculties	Staff feedback has been positive and all staff leave more confident in using ICT to assist with their teaching. Continuing to make contact with more teachers. Active intergration of some skills eg moodle, slideshare, downloading eg TED.com (is a site that is liked) Troubleshooting All staff informed of the role of an ICT coach and informed how to access and timetable they are free. Promotion again in staff briefing and emails
3 Moodle PD group sessions have been run for full staff.	Teachers are gaining confidence in using Moodle. Teachers responded: “Enjoyed this session because it was more specific to what I wish to do with my classes” “Found the session very beneficial” “This session was helpful, I now have a better understanding of how to facilitate students to submit work online” From submitted feedback for Session 2.
Moodle usage has increased	Statistics from Moodle show that Teacher usage has increased over the past Milestone period.

Student Outcomes

ICT Facilitator meets Pacific Island students.	All PI students can log into Moodle, they all informed me that they have access to a computer and the internet at home.
Fairfied Intermediate ex-students, originating from digital classrooms, contacted	Students are aware of who the ICT facilitator is and what IT opportunities are available for them in the school.
Moodle usage has increased	Statistics from Moodle show that Student usage has increased over the past Milestone period.

ICT Facilitator Outcomes

Attended edIT Roadshow	Invaluable contact with key technology providers and other technology staff.Information about helpful free Microsoft tools shared with staff.
Attended Connected meeting at Southwell School.	Useful information about Digital Citizenship and implementing LMS in schools. Will support next steps about cyber-safely.
Initial survey of 28 students completed to identify computer access outside of school.	All 28 students completed survey and all have access to a computer with Broadband internet. 29% have their own laptop. Would like to do this survey on a wider scale.
